Scientists try to calm 2012 hysteria (Calm Down! Calm Down!)

This movie sells the same tripe that I have seen on many book and DVD covers over the last couple of decades and it usually produced by those that claim to be awakening you. They are not awakening you they are simply making money. This is not to say that a small percentage of folks producing small budget information do not believe they are just doing it for cash and they believe they are doing it with good intention. They believe they are doing good. I’m not sorry to say this will be my last ‘news’ report on this website. It does have a powerful message if you can or want to hear it.

The Piggy Wiggy Ziggy Suit - For the busy executive -- an anti-H1N1 suit

I’d like to tell all the sane people out there that are not woefully paranoid about the swine flu that there is now ‘an anti swine flu suit on sale that is coated with “titanium dioxide”, a chemical commonly used in toothpaste and cosmetics and that breaks down when reacting with light, supposedly killing the virus upon contact. Mind you this chemical is dangerous in its own right so maybe catching Piggy Wiggy Ziggy Flu is actually far safer than wearing a suit containing titanium dioxide. Those lucky people who read my very important article on Swine Flu, called The Piggy Wiggy Ziggy Flu Files, have the advantage over those that haven't read it. The said article was removed to appease threats of police visits and court appearances from the liar and conman Ian R Crane.

Stopping the wankers from wanking: Egypt Bans Porn Sites

A court in Cairo has issued a ruling that bans pornographic websites in Egypt, state news agency Mena reports. The Administrative Court in Cairo has ordered the government to block the "venomous and vile" sites in response to a case filed by a Muslim lawyer. Nizar Ghorab had argued that the "electronic dens of vice" were destroying Egyptian social values. The Ministry of Communications, which regulates internet providers in Egypt, says it has not heard of the decision. "Letting these websites [operate] ruins moral values," AFP news agency quoted the court ruling as saying. "Freedoms of expression and public rights should be restricted by maintaining the fundamentals of religion, morality and patriotism."

May Day Rallies Protesting Economic Crisis Turn Violent

MOSCOW —  Workers rallied Friday in European cities to mark May Day, with tens of thousands of demonstrators across Russia supporting or slamming the government amid growing unemployment and economic troubles. In Turkey — which only last week declared the international labor day a public holiday — union workers held a major rally at a previously banned site where dozens died during a May Day demonstration three decades ago. But the event was marred by nearby fighting between riot police and leftists. At least 26 people were detained, the Anatolia news agency reported. Demonstrators in the German capital, where protests are traditionally held the night before May Day, torched trash bins and threw rocks and bottles at police in overnight clashes. Police said 48 officers were hurt and 57 people were detained.
