Buy Your Own Identity (Card)

The government tonight announced the price of an ID card for people who do not also apply for a passport will be £30.

In a written answer released tonight by the home office, the home secretary, Charles Clarke, put the cost of a stand-alone ID card at £30, but those applying both for an ID card and to renew their passport will pay £93. Around 80% of the adult UK population holds a passport

A Home Office spokesman said that the controversial cards would not be compulsory to carry, but that when around 80% of the population had registered for one, parliament would vote on whether to make it compulsory to register for a card. The government says there are no plans at any stage to oblige people to carry a card

.... Yeh right, we know what's coming don't we folks?

Mr Clarke said: "Being able to prove who we are is a fundamental requirement in modern societies, for example when we travel, apply for a job, open a bank account or apply for benefits.

"In future, the recording of biometrics such as fingerprints, iris patterns or facial image means that we will have a much stronger way of linking identity to the person"

"A national ID card will be a robust, secure way to establish that identities are real, not fabricated."

He said of the £30 fee: "No one who wants to protect their identity need pay more"

" Proposed cards will carry a microchip carrying biometric data such as details of the holder's fingerprints and face"

Thoughts, OneBallers???

Oki doke well the stop watch has started to measure the time it will take for a similar scheme to hit the headlines in Australia. We are often a week or two in arrears but we always, ALWAYS follow suite.

Do people really need to see a North American Union and an Asian and African Union as evidence of one Governing body or the NWO endgame? It's blatantly obvious to anyone who's looking the NWO is in full swing already.

The following are comments by Greek Finance Minister George Papaconstantinou

"From 1. Jan. 2011, every transaction above 1,500 euros between natural persons and businesses, or between businesses, will not be considered legal if it is done in cash. Transactions will have to be done through debit or credit cards"

http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSLDE61824V20100209

So this will start in Greece and once it's been proven to be a success and I think we already know it will be MADE a success, it will then be rolled out across Europe. The Greeks will have to use a credit/debit card for anything over 1,500 euros.

They have been talking in the news how chip and pin needs to be reviewed as it's not as secure as first thought. The ball is being put into motion here.

It starts with 1,500 euros, what will stop them lowering it? 500 and then 200? 100?

It will mean anything above their arbitrary amount without an 'electronic receipt' will be illegal and therefore subject to confiscation. There was me thinking I could spend my money anyway I wished.
